What this website records about you, why, how long we keep it, and how to switch it off.

What the website records

When you browse. A random identifier is kept in your browser so that we can tell a first visit from a return visit. Against it we record:

the pages and sections you view, how long you actively spend on them and how far you scroll;
the buttons you tap, including WhatsApp, phone and email links, and forms you begin;
how you arrived: the link you followed, the campaign tags on it, and the advertisement click identifier when you came from an ad;
your device type, browser, operating system, language, time zone and screen size.

We do not store your IP address. A scrambled form of it, which cannot be turned back into the address, is used only to stop abuse of the website's forms.

When you use the chat assistant. Your questions and the answers, whether typed or spoken. Speech is turned into text by your own browser; we receive the text, not the recording. If a question is not covered by our prepared answers, its text may be sent to an artificial-intelligence service to draft a reply.

When you give us your details. What you enter in a form, the checkout or the appointment picker: your name, phone number, email address if you give one, what you are looking for, and the appointment or seat you choose. From that moment your browsing on this website is linked to your name so that the person who calls you knows what you were interested in.

When you message us on WhatsApp or fill in a form on one of our ads. If you write to our WhatsApp number, your messages and our replies are kept with your contact record. If you fill in a lead form on a Facebook, Instagram or Google ad, that platform passes us the answers you gave.

When you pay online. Payment is handled by the payment provider. We receive the result and a reference number, never your card or bank details.

Why we record it

To reply to you, confirm appointments and seats, and follow up on your enquiry by WhatsApp, phone or email.
To see which pages and which marketing bring people who are interested, and improve both.
To show you relevant messages from us on other platforms, as described next.

Advertising

If we run advertising on Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google or LinkedIn, their measurement code loads on this website only after you accept the notice. It tells that platform that you visited, and whether you made an enquiry, started a checkout or paid, so that we can measure our advertising and show our ads to people who have visited. We may also send those same events from our server, and may upload a list of people who gave us their details with phone numbers and emails scrambled, so the platform can match them to its own users. If you choose "Do not track me", none of this happens for you.

We may also use Google Tag Manager to load such measurement code, and Microsoft Clarity, which shows us how pages are used (scrolling, taps and mouse movement) so we can fix what is confusing. They follow the same rule: loaded only after you accept the notice, and never if you choose "Do not track me".

Who can see it

The Metablis team, and the companies that provide our website hosting, email, payment, messaging, advertising measurement and artificial-intelligence services, each only as far as needed to do that job. We do not sell your information.

How long we keep it

The click-by-click record of browsing is deleted after about six months. Visit totals, chat conversations and your contact record are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them to deal with your enquiry or your enrolment, and are deleted when you ask.

Your choices

Open Your space to see what this website remembers about this browser, and erase it there.
Choose "Do not track me" on the notice, or use the button below, and this browser is no longer recorded. Forms, the chat assistant and bookings still work.
Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it: write to info@metablis.com from the email address or with the phone number you gave us.
Tell us to stop contacting you at any time, by replying to any message. Every marketing email we send also ends with a link that stops them in one tap.

Changes

If what the website records changes, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
